Amber Wolfe, Founder/Director

I was born and (mostly) raised in North Louisiana.

With a sense of adventure, I decided I would see the world by joining the Army at the age of 18. 

After serving our country, I lived in New Jersey for a few years, where I worked for medical transcription and property management firms. Ultimately, Louisiana called me home, and I began my career with En-Pro Management in Shreveport, LA in 2008. I immediately felt a passion for the work that En-Pro was doing with AEDs and community life-saving training. While working for En-Pro, my passion and committment to our clients allowed me to enjoy roles in Client Services, Sales, and Project Management.

En-Pro became a subsidiary of ZOLL Medical in 2012, and it continued to operate in Shreveport until 2018. ZOLL then began transitioning the En-Pro business to ZOLL Medical Headquarters in Chelmsford, MA. My position of Training Center Manager was one of the last to be moved in 2019.

Since most of our family and many of our dearest friends were here in the Shreveport area, we chose to decline the offer to relocate to the Boston area. Instead, I decided to start my own business here in North Louisiana and work in coordination with ZOLL to help people in my community and other communities across the country. 

I vowed to follow my passion and create a service-focused company that cares about its customers. 

Business aside, the achievement I am most proud of is being a mother of our three smart, sassy, and beautiful girls with the best man a girl could ask for at my side. My life usually revolves around my children ... play dates, soccer, gymnastics, etc. Fortunately, I have a tremendous support system that allows me to balance the needs of my family and my clients. It’s fast-paced, but I can’t imagine it any other way!

First Hand Response was created to help people survive medical emergencies and get back to their families.
